Acceptance

By using www.pyroportal.co.uk or the PyroPortal platform you accept these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

Account responsibility

You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for everything done under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

Acceptable use

Don’t use PyroPortal to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, send spam, or attack our infrastructure. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that do.

Compliance is yours

PyroPortal helps you keep records and produce paperwork, but you remain responsible for meeting your obligations under the Explosives Regulations 2014 and any other applicable law. The platform is a tool, not a substitute for competent operators.

Plans, payment and cancellation

Spark is free. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, by card through Stripe. Prices are shown ex VAT and VAT is added at the applicable rate. Upgrading or moving between paid plans is pro-rated and takes effect once payment succeeds; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from Settings → Billing. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and then drops to Spark. We don’t refund unused time on a monthly or annual plan except where the law requires it.

If a payment fails we will retry it and email you. While an invoice remains unpaid your account becomes read-only: you keep access to your data but can’t create or edit records until the balance is settled.

Changes to pricing

We may change the price of a plan or add-on, or the limits attached to it, by giving you at least 30 days’ notice by email to your account owner. A new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period ends, never part-way through a period you have already paid for. If you are on an annual plan, your price is fixed until that annual term ends.

If you don’t want to continue at the new price you can cancel or move to a different plan before it takes effect, and the change won’t apply to you. Continuing to use a paid plan after the new price takes effect counts as accepting it.

Complimentary or discounted access that we grant at our discretion can be withdrawn or converted to a standard paid plan on the same 30 days’ notice.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For changes that materially affect your rights we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email; minor clarifications take effect when published here. The date at the top of this page shows the current version.

Your data

Your records remain yours. You can export them while your account is active and for 30 days after a paid plan ends. See our privacy policy for how we handle personal data.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim. We don’t exclude liability for anything that can’t lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The English courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
